So.
I’ve decided that my summer splurge won’t be jewelery like EVERY OTHER YEAR but instead if I want to keep improving my blog I need a new camera.
I need one that is easy to use, not super expensive and really durable. Well because-I’m really clumsy, don’t want to spend a fortune and have little patience when taking photos.
This one at $1699.00 will not make the cut.
Nor will this one at nearly $8000.00. For $8000.00 I would want it to get up each morning and make me breakfast, iron my clothes and change the baby’s diaper. Perhaps a neck massage too.
Any suggestions?

Oh, my friend Lindsay gave me some great suggestions a few weeks ago when I asked her the same question…and now I forget what she told me. I *do* remember that I mentioned $2000 and she laughed at me…and my heart sank, because I thought I was being too cheap. But apparently the kind of camera you and I might need isn't nearly that expensive and *might* be available refurbished on amazon or some such place.Now if I could only remember what else she said…I'll ask again. Me want camera too.
Arggg…$2000.00! Let's hope that it has been greatly refurbished 🙂
i have my older camera that i was just thinking about selling on used ottawa. Canon 40D and comes with a lens…it took all those wonderful pictures of your daughter last year with it :).
