Look at what I found in the garbage this week. Hoorah for long walks with the baby!
I love it!  An old-fashioned step stool with cool faded, yellow paint.  Perfect to house a drink and an obscene amount of candles and the lovely the buddha that my sister gave me yonks ago,  under the gazebo.

I can’t believe that I haven’t done this before and for that I’m totally sorry.

I was reading the wonderful, http://mamachromatic.com/ blog the other day (you should go there now-I’ll wait, hmmmmm, hmmm, hmmm, Ok!) and clicked on a button.
BlogWithIntegrity.com
I loved it so much that I’ve added it into my blog but I don’t feel right having it here without mentioning where it is from.  I totally thought that I had but now I realize I didn’t and am, in fact, a big heal.

Whoosh- cathartic relief.

Now onto something tasty and with espresso in it so it must be really good.  Factor in chocolate and the fact that I get to use my blow torch and I’ll be a really happy girl.

I love to bake but I just can’t do it in the weather so…

Espresso (no bake) Creme brulee
Melt 6 oz of dark chocolate (ooohhh misty)
In a bowl mix 3 egg yolks and 2 T. of sugar.

Heat 3/4 cup of whole milk and 1 package of Starbucks coffee (I would guess that about 2 T. of any instant coffee would work nicely).

Add the hot milk into the egg yolks slowly (whisk like heck or you will have scrambled eggs).

Whisk in the melted chocolate.
Pour into ramekins (mine are large so this only make five but it really should make six).  Chill until firm (about 2 hours-if you can wait that long 🙂 ).

Sprinkle with sugar (about 2 tsp/ramekin) and get out your blowtorch.  I don’t have a fancy kitchen one.  This is the same that we also repair plumbing with.

Crack the sugar and wolf down!
