I was on my way to look for bathroom fixtures for the new part of the house and spotted this…
I know it doesn’t look like much but hold on a minute…how about adding a spray can of
Hmmmm something happened to that picture. It’s actually a fun colour called “Watermelon” and I had it on hand for another project but I’m not quite ready to paint that one yet. So instead
Pinkie Tuskadero on my patio! Does that age me to use that name (yes, it is from ‘Happy Days’)?
Oh well.
How to celebrate?
How about some pudding?
I posted this recipe for cornstarch pudding last summer but I wanted to show my 16 blackberries from the garden. Yes. 16. This is the most that my bushes have produced. Ever.
In a double boiler combine; 1/4 cup of sugar and 3 T. of cornstarch.
Slowly add 1/4 cup of milk-use a little whisk to get rid of any lumps.
Add in 2 cups of milk and squish out the guts of a vanilla pod.
Whisk over the heat until thick. Pour over bowls with berries on the bottom.
Chill for as long as you can wait-think of Grandma Gibson while you eat it. I always do ๐
very cute, did you find that in someone's garbage? You've had good luck lately!
Yup! It was at the end of their lane ๐
It's amazing what a can of spray paint can do! Nice job.And pudding…. ooh, that is happiness in a bowl.
I'm happy to say that I have never said no to pudding-it's good to have no regrets.
