I guess I should actually call this new feature {Adventuresindinner} loves…

For the past few years I’ve really tried to change my spending habits to be more meaningful.

So…I spend money on things that are really well made, are made by someone who cares about what they do and things that will last.

Which led me to Etsy.

Over the next several months I’m going to share with you some Etsy shops that I’ve shopped at and loved what I’ve gotten from them.

I like going there because I find truly unique things and have confidence in what I buy there.

I’ve not received anything from the shops for my review but I have contacted them after I’ve test driven my purchases and in some cases they have offered to do a giveaway. 

Yay! 

In those cases I’ll be displaying their button in the sponsorship part of my blog for a month.

My first choice is…

Pixiekids Toys.

When Small One really started to ‘play’ with things I wanted fun things that would also grow with her.

We had been given so many things (so very muich not a complaint) that were young baby oriented and I wanted to keep her developing.  I also wanted toys that would last longer than a couple of months.

Trolling the internet I found Pixiekids Toys.  This wonderful company has handmade felt toys (eco friendly) that are in a mulititude of shapes a lot having to do with food (you can see where my obsession is from).  Run by a mom who must never sleep since she’s so efficient.  My purchases (both times I’ve ordered) have been at my house in half the time that I expected them.

 Our daily, favourite toy though is the breakfast set.

This bag has been on every car trip for months and apparently just does not get old!

What is great is that there is always something new on this site and the prices are scarily reasonable.
