I’m really hoping that our projected snow doesn’t actually happen after a week of July temperatures and I’m throwing a wedding shower for my dear niece today. I’ll share pics of it and the food in the next little while but today I thought I’d be all about the chocolate.
How about a chocolate fondue that you don’t even need to watch over while you have guests as it remains gooey and delicious even without the heat. It is even amazing as a sauce on icecream.
Simply take; 200 grams of really good chocolate, 1/4 cup whipping cream, 1 T. creme de cassis (black currant liquour or you can use brandy or rum or a dash of vanilla) and 1 tsp. cinnamon.
Melt together over a double boiler.
Serve in a pretty dish with lots of fresh fruit. Happy, happy day.
